Brandelyn: Lyrical Contradiction

Okay...so my Vegas trip almost ended a little early when I almost went to jail this morning. Lee and I got up and headed downstairs where a cab was waiting to take us to the Magic. We get in and the conversation goes like this..ahem...

Me: Hi, we are going to the convention center, south hall

Cab Driver: Okay

Me:Oh and we need to go to the back side of the south hall

CB: I don't know what you mean.

Lee: There is another entrance on the backside of the hall, we need to go there

CB: There is only one entrance to the convention center and that is in the front, so i don't know what you are talking about

Lee: If you go around the back, there is another entrance

CB: Is it on John Wayne Avenue

Lee: I'm not sure what the street name is, but it is in the back of the convention center

CB: Well if you've been there before then you should know what the name of the street is and how to get there

ME: WOW, you know what? All you need to do, is take us where we asked, Just get us to the convention center and then go to the back. All of this unnecessary

SILENCE

So we get to the convention center...

CB: See, there is not entrance to the back side, I don't know what you guys are talking about...

Lee: Just drop us off here...

So we stop and he stops at the furthest distance from the door he could. The fair added up to $6.20. So Lee hands him a 10.

Lee:I'd like change back

CB: What are you waiting for a reciept?

Lee: No I'm waiting for my change

CB: Oh you want change?

He proceeds to huff and puff and hands Lee 3 dollars in change.

Lee: Alright, you have a blessed day

CB: Yeah, you too, And I'll really have a blessed day if i get another fair like you...

Lee was already out of the car, but stuck his head back in...

Lee: What?!

CB: silence....

I slid out of the car and had to count to fifty to calm down because old boy really almost got us caught up...

Oh yeah, and on the boy update...I'm up to three numbers and a marriage proposal! VIVA LAS VEGAS! LOL!!! Peace Y'all
